Westin
Westin Gaudet is a Licensed Architect with a NAAB Accredited 5-year Bachelors of Architecture Degree from California State Polytechnic Pomona. He currently holds a professional architects license in the State of California and is also registered with the American Institute of Architects, AIA. He has received awards from the American Institute of Architects for design and performance. He brings over eighteen (18) years of architectural and structural experience, architectural and structural project management, and observation experience to Du Mont Engineering. He has a wide range of experience in the design, approval, and management of projects including single family residential, multifamily residential, Homeowners Associations, retrofits, tenant improvement, ADA compliance/upgrades, site design, Senate Bill 721 decking and waterproofing, commercial, industrial, religious, and hospitality. He has worked with numerous clients to identify and prioritize construction defect and/or damaged building components, produce written scope of work, design and implement a master plan repair approach, obtain jurisdictional approvals, and be intimately involved in the construction and project management phases of the project. He has extensive experience in timber, masonry, concrete, and steel construction. He has performed construction site observations for many projects, and has also performed numerous job site observations for a wide range of structures. His education, licensing, and experience in architecture, coupled with extensive experience working with structural engineering brings a well-balanced approach to design, aesthetics, budgets, and overall knowledge of the construction industry. Westin has been a strongly valued member of Du Mont Engineering having worked for the organization for 10 years.
